- There is a lamp post inside one of our favorite gayborhood bars in Dallas, TX. Thus, the name of this blog. The concept seed for this blog came from the fact that I have lived in and around the Dallas Gayborhood for many years. I have stories and I've heard stories and I have hopes for this old neighborhood. You, too, maybe, and your stories and hopes have never appeared anywhere for others to see.
