- There is a lamp post inside one of our favorite gayborhood bars in Dallas, TX. Thus, the name of this blog. The concept seed for this blog came from the fact that I have lived in and around the Dallas Gayborhood for many years. Yes...4242 memories. I had Apartment 524 on the 3rd floor facing the intersection of Cedar Springs and Douglas. Probably the loudest apartment in Oak Lawn I ever had, but lots of fun! That was in fall 1995 through summer 1996 and my rent was $495 plus electric. Good times!
ReplyDeleteI heard this evening that there are some fabulous architectural images in the demo of 4242. Things like a RED room over a PURPLE room under a bathroom with classic white tile and a black stripe. I hope the demo has stopped for the weekend so I can get a photo of the red room.
